We are overly proud of Anaiah Love Siallagan who won the first champion of Erlangga English Speech Contest 2018 in Bandung! Anaiah is a fourth grade student of Yahya Christian Primary School who joined the selection with other hundreds of students, including other ten students of Yahya Christian Primary School. Those ten magnificent children were Eunike Octaviani Ananda, Steffi Margareth Simangunsong, Regina Tiara Nadira Kusmana, Ida Bagus Wiranatha Nararya Mahaputra, Stephanie Eunike Tricia, Geraldine Florencia Technicara, Emilia Samantha Thomas, Abrielle Hazzeline Callystha, Clarissa Rebecca Lumoindong and Aryasatya Cahyono.
Anaiah’s journey, however, wasn’t thoroughly stress-free at first. She had to compete with other four Yahya children who were also chosen to be the 15-top finalists in the last round of the contest; they were Eunike, Steffi, Regina, and Gusnatha. But each of the student had their own unique voice to speak about and surely had the determination to shine and share their light!
Thus far, the luck was on Anaiah’s side! Her self-belief and hard work earned her big success! She was chosen as the first winner and is going to represent West Java in Erlangga National English Speech Contest 2018 on October 27th 2018 in Jakarta.
Please, pray for Anaiah during this joyous time. She has done her best and the results will be forthcoming.
